Designing the second acceleration round in Riga

The partners of SmartUp Accelerator spent two days in Riga discussing the first round of the accelerator program and designing the next one. From our room at the University of Latvia, we were looking over the city as the weather altered between rain, snow and sunshine. Most importantly – we were looking at last year’s process from different perspectives!

In the workshops and group discussions we asked ourselves what has so far worked out as planned and what we could do better for the second round of the program. We also went through the experiences gathered from the startups from the first month of the accelerator. With the insights from this meeting as a starting point, we will be making some final touches before launching the competition for the accelerator. Startups working with sustainable, user-centric smart mobility solutions will be invited to apply for SmartUp Accelerator 2019 starting in late spring. The venue at the University of Latvia we were working in will also play an important role in the next acceleration round – more about that in a couple of months!
