Karlskrona: Swedish Innovation Parliament

The Swedish Innovation Parliament is a yearly event organized by the Swedish industry association Swedish Incubators and Science Parks, which is an association that supports the development of the innovation ecosystem. During this years’ Swedish Innovation Parliament, representatives from this ecosystem consisting of both science parks and incubators as well as for instance corporations and universities, are invited to gather in the city of Karlskrona. The two-day event in Karlskrona will cover how incubators and science parks can work together to support the development of smart societies.

This is where SmartUp Accelerator fits in perfectly. Together with other organizations, we will co-create a session during May 9th where we will talk about cooperation across borders and how that can contribute to innovation and competitiveness. In the SmartUp case, across borders can mean both between regions and internationally.

During our session on stage, we will cover exciting insights on how we are working with smart societies and why we are making these efforts. We will also focus on our experiences of working in an international project, the value of each partner country’s contributions and how we want to make sure that the values created through this project will live on and continue to develop through extended networks. We are looking forward to meeting many inspiring organizations during this event!
