We’re spreading the word in Sweden!

Actors in the support system recently got an introduction to innovative solutions for sustainable living during a national seminar in Gothenburg. Innovatum, Johanneberg Science Park and Alexandersoninstitutet hosted the event and several inspirational speakers joined to share their perspectives on the past, present and future of smart homes.

Consulting firm Northstream presented their thoughts on how the field of smart homes and buildings is developing. rdot, our Swedish participant in the SmartUp Accelerator 2018, gave an example of a technological solution for smart homes and consumer electronics in the form of their low-cost, flexible and environmentally friendly display. Finally, HSB Living Lab introduced their research arena – a residential building where technology for sustainable living is being tested in a changeable environment.

This was only the warm-up for our participants – the exercise that followed had everyone discussing what can be done to allow smartups and their sustainable solutions to gain ground even faster!

Keep an eye out for the upcoming national seminars that will be held in the six other partner countries.
