The current development of COVID-19 caused us to rethink our plans to host our SmartUp bootcamp in Berlin. A big thanks to our seven motivated smartups, our speakers and ten partners around the BSR for making the virtual version of the Berlin bootcamp such a good experience!
- Been given some food for thought on making new market entries as we heard from Perille, a smart mobility company who took part in last year’s program!
- Done some “sensemaking” with the SmarUp partners about the current situation and identified goals and strategies for targeting a new market
- Gained new perspectives on user understanding thanks to a great presentation and workshop by senior service designer Laura Lerkkanen, who works at Hellon – the most awarded customer experience design agency in the world!
As of this point, the acceleration phase has begun. Smartups will be have 1-on-1 meetings with their target market partners and work to achieve the goals they have identified during the bootcamp.
